Long Arm Sewing Machine Rental (Must be certified on OUR machine prior to renting) $40 for a 2 hour session WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY RENTAL FEE - The use of a cleaned and oiled, state of the art Handi Quilter 16 long-arm quilting machine with a stitch regulator. Use of the bobbin winder if you want to wind your own bobbins. First 3 bobbins and thread from the Bottom line & OMNI solid line thread RENTAL SESSION FEES: Session $40: 2 hour minimum rental time. if more time is needed you will be charged $10 a half hour rounded to the nearest half hour. If there is a rental or class booked directly after your booked time you will have to remove your project and schedule for another time to finish. Any cancelation within 48 hours will result in loss of entire paid rental fee. Repeat cancellations could result in customer suspension for use of our machine. Extra Costs: *Machine needles - $1.50 ea per broken/bent needles *Variegated or specialty Threads (7.00 per quilt) *Batting: You can bring in your own batting or purchase it from us. Just ask and we can help you find what will work best with your project. WHAT IF I CAN’T FINISH IN ONE SESSION? It will depend on how fast and how heavily you quilt. Once you’re more experienced you should be able to quilt a full-to-queen size quilt with an all-over pattern in a single session. WHAT IF MY QUILT ISN’T FINISHED AT THE END OF MY SESSION? You may also be able to extend your session if no one else has reserved the machine. (10.00 per half hour past session time) MAY I RENT THE MACHINE FOR LESS THAN A FULL SESSION? The Machine can only be rented for a full session. However, when it is not in use, we’re happy to let you use it for less than a full session on a walk-in basis. The minimum charge for this type of rental is $25. This covers one hour of use. Then every 30 minutes after the first hour is charged at a rate of $10.00 Valet service will be available when you rent the machine. The cost is $15 and will include the following: loading of the backing, batting and quilt top onto the machine, full bobbins will be loaded for you and the machine will be threaded with thread color of your choice. The thread, quilt top, backing and batting must be dropped off a minimum of one day before your rental time. This is an optional service but it does cut down on the time to load your quilt during your rental when you can be sewing.
